Biography

Tanya Kostadinova is a Bulgarian-born actress and filmmaker based between Sofia and London.

She holds a BA in Drama Theatre from New Bulgarian University and trained in Film Acting at the Met Film School, Ealing Studios, London. She recently completed an MA in Filmmaking, through which she directed her debut short film, The Unbeliever.

Tanya works across English- and Bulgarian-language productions. Her screen credits include the television series Anxiety, and roles in international film projects such as Die Geschichte der Menschheit – leicht gekürzt (Warner Bros. Pictures) and the short film Resignation Day. She has also worked behind the camera as an assistant director on It Might Be Nothing in Common, presented at the Sofia Film Festival.

Alongside her screen work, she has contributed voice performances for animation, including the Bulgarian dub of Jon Vardar protiv Galaksijata.

She holds UK work permission, a European passport, and a valid US B1/B2 visa.
